Is the Kojima timer still going???
All of Xbox's biggest titles release in March whereas Playstation releases big titles throughout the year. Games of comparable quality will always sell at least 3 to 4 times as many copies if they release at Christmas time.
Although I have always wondered why Sony doesn't release its biggest titles in November.
Why is this news? PS3 has been able to do this for years.
Sony should not drop the price until they can afford a $150 price cut.
If Sony cuts $100 down to $299 then the PS3 and the X360 will cost the same price. At equal prices the Playstation will outsell the Xbox. Sony knows it, Microsoft knows it, I know it, and you know it, everybody knows.
Microsoft however will not accept that easily, they will respond with a price cut of their own. The cut will be $50 or $100 down to $249 or $199 with hard-drive.

People should just face the music, a PS3 is capable of more impressive and better looking games than an Xbox 360 is capable of.
This propaganda tactics, trying to say it is an unresolved question which is more powerful, and trying to say that the two are equal, no longer hold water. I never bought it in the PS3's first year but at least then we hadn't seen the games that proved a PS3 was more powerful.

God of War at Christmas time is going to sell lots and lots and lots of copies.
Your fans like Playstation and hate Xbox (for whatever reason). So Square makes a bunch of games for Xbox 360 and none for PS3. Apparently, they wanted their revenue and profit to fall.
I could understand putting some games on Xbox, but I can't understand why they would put none on PS3. That is just stupid when you know your fans prefer Playstation.

Killzone needs a party system of some form. It is the single most important thing that they could do.
I think that the problem is that KZ2 uses a list-of-servers format instead of a matchmaking format. That makes it difficult to search for games as a group. I think that GG could still do some things to make it easy for us to make friends on the fly and to play with the friends we have already made.

Microsoft will definitely show some exclusives at E3. They would have to be completely brain dead if they didn't show anything. The question is what quality will it be and will the games it shows be of the same quality as the games that Sony shows.

Right, the fact that Kratos uses something other than his bare hand is telling. It tells of a fundamentally different approach to the conflict and a superior way of fighting. Using tools is a better way of fighting than using your bare hand, which is the worst form of fighting.

I never looked it up, but I thought Kojima does own the Metal Gear IP, or at least has more rights than developers normally have. I get the impression that Kojima has more authority than, say Itagaki had over Ninja Gaiden.
